With all the basic characteristics of all other developmental processes,stomatal development is relatively simple and easy to operate,which make it a good platform to research the mechanism how hormones integrate the environment signal and regulate development.In this paper,we reviewed the latest research progress on the signal transmission network and key components in stomatal development,and hormone(sterols,auxin,ABA,GA,Eth) function in regulation of stomatal development,and the cross interactions between hormones are summarized.
