Primula filchnerae Knuth is one of the extremely endangered plants of the world.Since its being collected by W.Filchner in 1904 on the southern lopes of Qinling Mountains (Tsinling Shan),it has never been found again in the wild.In 2006,it was rediscovered in Hubei Province.This year we found several individuals at its type locality in southern slopes of Qinling Mountains,and added some floral details and habitat description of this plant.
