    Abstract:

    Biophytum reinwardtii (Zucc.) Klotzsch, a newly recorded species of Oxalidaceae from China, is reported, and its lectotype is designated. An amplified description and related specimen photos are provided here. This species was newly found in Yingjiang County in the border area between southwest China and Myanmar. B. reinwardtii is similar to B. sensitivum, but differs from the latter by its pedicels 5-7 mm (vs. 1 mm) long in flowering.
