Two varieties, Paris fargesii var. latipetala H. Li et VG Soukup and Paris axialis H. Li var. rubra H. H. Zhou, K. Y. Wu et R. Tao, are reported as new records of Sichuan, China. P. axialis H. Li var. rubra is an endemic taxon of Guizhou Province with one isolated habitat. The discovery of new distribution in Sichuan is of important significance on phylogenetic evolution and migration of genus Paris L.
