    Abstract:

Here, we report a new record of Platanthera angustilabris Seidenf., an epiphytic species of Orchidaceae collected from Lafu Dahei Mountain (near Hemo Village), Mengma Township, Menglian County, Yunnan, China in 2017. Platanthera angustilabris was found on a tree in a midmontane moist evergreen broadleaved forest at an elevation of 2 145 m. P. angustilabris has been recorded in Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam. The species is very similar to P. sikkimensis, but P. angustilabris Seidenf. has longer narrowlylanceolate leaves up to 15 cm long, whereas P. angustilabris has shorter lanceolate leaves(up to 7 cm long only). Voucher specimens are preserved in the Herbarium of the Kunming Institute of Botany (KUN), Chinese Academy of Sciences.
