Biatora carneoalbida is reported new to China based on the specimen collected from Hebei Province. The study on morphology, anatomy and chemistry, and a phylogentic analysis of nrDNA ITS sequence were carried out. The new record species can be distinguished by crustose thallus; apothecia usually clustered, disc orange yellow; clavate, 8spored asci; hyaline, fusiform ascospores (13.3-20.0) × (1.7-5.0) μm in size. Specimens are currently collected in HMASL and HBNU.
