    Abstract:

    Molineria prainiana Deb (Hypoxidaceae), a species previously known from India and Butan, rencetly found growing under the moist forest in Yunnan Tongbiguan Provincial Nature Reserve, Dehong, Yunnan Province, China in 2019. It was characterized by rhizomatous herb up to 170 cm tall, blade 60-107 cm long, raceme elongated up to 30 cm long, densely tomentose, yellow flowers and ovary without beak belongs to the genus Molineria. Vouchers are kept in the Herbarium of Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, Chinese Academy of Sciences (HITBC).
