A new record family of Pteridophyta, Diplaziopsidaceae, and its species Diplaziopsis cavaleriana are reported from Qinling Mountain area in Shaanxi Province. A brief description and photos are provided. The voucher specimens were deposited in Herbarium of Shaanxi University of Technology (HZTC).
