    Abstract:

Plants usually enhance their resistance by regulating the production of metabolites when infected by pathogenic fungi. Metabolomics, as one of the most powerful tools for identifying plant resistancerelated (RR) metabolites, has contributed greatly to indepth exploration of disease resistance mechanism, and can assist in the evaluation of resistant genotypes and the breeding of resistant cultivars when used in combination with other omics technologies. This paper reviewed the procedure of identifying plant RR metabolites based on metabolomics, the RR metabolites discovered in recent years and their mechanism of action. The challenges in the study of RR metabolites based on metabolomics are also discussed.
