Acta Botanica Boreal-Occidentalia Sinica flipped to an open access journal in 2022. Since 2022, once published, all articles will be immediately and permanently available for readers to read and download free of charge. This license allows reusers to copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format. Copyright Transfer
Authors are required to sign the Copyright Transfer Agreement after the manuscript is accepted by the journal. All authors shall agree to transfer the copyright of the article to the Editorial Department of Acta Botanica Boreali-Occidentalia Sinica, for worldwide use. The Editorial Department of Acta Botanica Boreali-Occidentalia Sinica has right to use the article, including but not limited to: right of compilation (in whole or in part), right of distribution, right of reproduction in print and electronic edition, right of translation, and right of information network dissemination. The Editorial Department of Acta Botanica Boreali-Occidentalia Sinica is also permitted to allow the inclusion of the articles in domestic and foreign literature retrieval systems or databases.

All journal articles published since 2022 can be downloaded from this website free of charge, and are open access. Articles published before 2022 are not open access, while some of the articles can be searched and read on this website. In order to ensure data security, all information has also been backed up in the editorial department. The hard and soft copy of each issue of the journal had been kept in the editorial department for archiving. In addition, other relevant materials are also kept by the editorial department, such as supplementary information and forms provided by the authors.
